Aligarh Public School and College were established in 1967 in Manga (Lahore) by Tehzibul Akhlaq Trust Lahore, organized and established by a group of old men from Aligarh Muslim University and other famous scholars of the country, with the main objective of protecting and promoting Muslims. principles from the opening of the educational institution held at the Aligarh Muslim University, a unique Islamic continuous education system designed by a group of great scholars of the subcontinent; Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. At GiveLight, we are focused on providing all our children with a high-quality, long-term education.

From the beginning, we envisioned our mission to provide a strong foundation for our children to reach their full potential throughout their lives. We train not only the body but more importantly, the mind and soul.

You can be a part of this wonderful vision. We divide the money into two different parts.

1. Curriculum for K-12

All of our children go to school, and we currently offer scholarships from kindergarten to high school. The cost varies by country, but on average, it is between $15 and $30 per child per month. All of our children go to government schools except our home in Bangladesh which is in a rural area and there are no schools that meet our standards. We give our children a competitive edge by offering private tutoring in English, Maths, Art, Music, and Quran Studies. We also conduct speech, math, Quran, Chess, etc. competitions which help build self-confidence, critical thinking, and public speaking skills.

2. High School / College

In general, orphanages care for children up to the age of seventeen or eighteen. The result of this leads to broken dreams and dire situations for thousands of children because they are forced to leave the only family they know. We want to change that. We are committed to supporting our children as they grow up and ensuring that they can achieve their dreams and find their place in the world. To do this, we created the Higher Education Fund. This is a new "pay-it-forward" model of Givelight that provides money for children to go to college; after they graduate, they will be required to pay this amount over time (without interest) so that we can continue to support the success of other children. We are proud to share that 15 of our children have graduated from university, and with this sustainable model, we hope to support many more. Meet two of the graduates, Yana and Alfin. You can see the impact of our long-term investment in their lives.

You can have a lasting impact on the lives and destinies of our children by contributing to an existing scholarship or creating your own. In the coming years, hundreds of children will graduate from college. They will be a living legacy of your generosity. Here is the process

1. Choose a name for your scholarship. This could be your last name or people who have had a lasting impact on your life. Example:

he honored your parents who sacrificed for you and helped you become the person you are today. honor the mentor in your life who set you on the path to contentment.

It's great that the teacher believed in you. It honors your precious children by creating an education that they too can contribute to. Your children can learn from your example and continue your family's education for generations to come!

2. Decide whether the money is for scholarships or higher education funds.

o For scholarships, you can arrange any amount, one-time or monthly. For Higher Education Funding, we recommend starting with a pledge of $1,000 per year. You will receive a biography and photo of the child you are sponsoring. We will introduce him to you and it will be our duty to keep you informed of his academic progress.

3. Once you receive your scholarship, you should contact your family and friends and encourage them to contribute to your money. You can continue to contribute with your money at any time to help it grow and meet the educational needs of as many children as possible.
