While most of the positions are only for men, the Pakistan Army has introduced a program that is only useful for women. Women from all parts of Pakistan can attend nursing programs for free when they are selected. They also receive a salary and join the Pakistan Army as Prime Minister. This program is announced once a year during the months of July and August. are as follows:

The qualifications required for women to join the Pak Army as Army Nurses (AFNS) are as follows:

 The student must have a matric degree in science subjects with a minimum score of 60%.  If the student has FSc pre-medical degree, he/she must have at least 50% marks.

 Students who have passed FSc Part 1 and are waiting for Part 11 results, or even if they are going to sit the Part 11 exam, can also apply for the Armed Forces Nurses (AFNS) post in Civil Service War Pak. They will only get the HOPE certificate from the Head of School (HOD) with his signature and 1st year result with minimum marks of 50%. Pakistan's army chiefs have defined the criteria by which women will be selected to join the Pakistan Army. Only women who qualify for this will be accepted into the Pak Army. The eligibility criteria to become an Army Nursing Service (AFNS) are as follows:

 Undocumented, separated, widowed, or divorced women can apply. Although the marital status of trained nurses is accepted, they are not married.  The age of uneducated people can be between 17 and 25 years, while the age of trained nurses is 18 to 28 years.

 Owners of Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir are eligible. Dual citizens must leave countries other than Pakistan to join the Pakistan Army.
